Stressors
The Stressor that I chose is violence. I chose this one because I experienced this as a child and even now as an adult. I thinks that senseless violence alot of adults, children and etc. hear about this everyday. It is stressful because sometime it goes on day to day and nothing seems to get done or no one seems to care and thats why it seem s to go on on a day to day basis. For example Trayvon Martin from the state of Florida was killed because of a senseless hate crime and to me thats stressful. I may not know him or his family personally but, I have children and to know that racism still exsist is beyond me and hurts my heart to know that everychild should know some form of protection to protect temselves in this cold cold world. This is a you tube website that you can go on and listen to this 17 year old african american by final calls for help as a so call neighbor hood watchman hunted him down and killed him all because he seemed to be racist. I think this would open anyone's eyes to the violence and racism that still goes on in 2012. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=trayvon+martin+911+call&oq=Trayvon+Ma&aq=1z&aqi=g-z3&aql=&gs_l=youtube.1.1.0i3l3.1047l3484l0l6641l4l4l0l1l1l0l359l718l0j1j1j1l3l0.

Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding is meaningful to me because it can be an advantage or disadvantage to nyone who is thinging about doing it after they have their baby. You may have someone who's milk supply will become week after a certain amount of months and may cause them to have to put their baby on formula, or someone supply may to plentyful and may cause a person to leak at times thats not convient for them to pump. Me personally I tried breastfeeding with both of my children, but my breast became really sore, and I just move them to formula. I was told I was doing it wrong, but then a breastfeeding specialist at the WIC office told me I was doing it right. This happened to me both times so I decided to just stop and put both of my children on the bottle. Some researchers say it breastfeeding help the immune system and even helps with the child's brain development. it may be true but, My children turned out fine on the bottle, as well as they both did some developmental things way before it was time for them to. Such as go to the bathroom at 15 months, started talking early etc. So I think I did a fine good even if they were on the bottle.
Breastfeeding in Canada: it is not like in the USA they are trying to promote it more so that parents can understand how important it is to do so. here is some information on it:

Breastfeeding in Canada: it is not like in the USA they are trying to promote it more so that parents can understand how important it is to do so. here is some information on it:
- Encourage communities and health facilities to use new media technology to reach larger numbers of people with breastfeeding information and alert them about the conflicts of interest that may arise when entities which profit from selling or distributing products under the scope of the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes (Code) promote breastfeeding.
- Broaden the scope of breastfeeding advocacy to involve traditionally less interested parties (i.e. youth, men, family planning advocates).
- Develop and scale-up communication skills education in breastfeeding and health trainings and look for active participation from young people.
- Through networking, create and increase communication channels between different sectors so breastfeeding information and feedback can be accessed and enhanced.
- Encourage mentorship by breastfeeding experts for new advocates, and by experienced communicators for those newly entering the communication era, regardless of their age.
- Creatively explore, support, recognise, and implement innovative communications approaches and provide a space for people to develop their ideas.

My Birthing Experience
The birthing experience that i am going to go into detail about was my own personal birthing experience with my son. The first thing I want to talk about was the one thing that I remember is that he did stop breathing in the birth canal and they had to do an emergency pull from the vaginal area with forceps. They could not do an emergency c-section because he was to far in the birth canal. All I remember doing was praying. I also experience to much anesthesia and I could not breath as they were stitching me up all I remember saying was let me sit up I can not breath. They kept telling me I was fine, my vitals were fine, but I did not feel fine. In the end when I started throwing up in the recovering room they realized that the aneathealogist had given me to much anesthesia. So thats my birthing story. I would not trade it for the world though.
Childbirth in Africa:
Childbirth in Africa:
Maternal death rates are particularly high in Africa because of the lack of skilled midwives, obstructed labor, unsafe abortions, anemia, and malaria. Pregnant women in Africa are especially vulnerable to malaria as their immunity is low and they often do not have the knowledge or the means of prevention.
Obstructed labor is a significant problem for young women who give birth when their bodies have not yet sufficiently developed. Some countries in Africa have the highest adolescent pregnancy rates in the world – up to 40 % of girls give birth before they are 14. (http://www.amrefusa.org/what-we-do/create-healthy-communities-/women-/)
There birth are similar because they are having children, but they have alot of differences as well such as high cases of malaria, alos HIV and AIDS, but we have high cause of HIV and AIDS here as well in the United States. They do not have the proper care givers their, but the ones they do have are lacking skills and education. The insight that I gain is that we have it made in the United States and we have an advantage over many different countries and regions because we have the properly educated people to provide the proper care for our expecting mothers. So we should take advantage of that when we decide to become pregnant or even when it is an unexpectant pregnacy.
